MOAS Mission Ukraine

Since the beginning of the war, in February 2022, MOAS is providing emergency medical aid and assistance to the people affected.

On the frontline, our programming focuses on point-of-injury and evacuation care, as well as damage control resuscitation. This involves our far-forward paramedics, doctors, nurses, logistics teams, and drivers heading in-country to treat injuries in the field and reduce preventable morbidity and mortality.

We are responding to the need with a fleet of 52 ambulances, all with varying specifications and capacities, tailored to the specific needs of the local environmental context. These vehicles are equipped with medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and state-of-the-art equipment, enabling our teams to provide basic life support, advanced interventions, transportation, and triage, as well as more extensive medical interventions as needed.

Until the end of 2024, MOAS also operated a Mobile Medical Clinic in communities cut off from health services, assisting vulnerable elderly individuals and families in need. The vehicle was lent to MOAS by the Ronald McDonald House Charity (Latvia) for the duration of the mission in the country.

We need your help to continue our life-saving mission.

Please donate what you can now! Together, we can make a difference.
